Soho Jazz Jam feat. Ben Dwyer
Every Thursday, Jack Solomons Jazz Club hosts the Soho Jazz Jam — a night of live jazz, blues, and swing with some of the best players in town. A featured artist opens the night with a full set before the jam begins, drawing top musicians from across the scene. DJ sets from Soho Set follow, with the bar serving until 1am.
Ben Dwyer, a trailblazing baritone saxophonist, has carved a unique space in the jazz world with his commanding stage presence and genre-bending style. Known for delivering over 100 unforgettable performances, his recordings capture a raw, vibrant energy that resonates with audiences. Dwyer’s ability to fuse traditional jazz with contemporary flair has solidified his reputation as one of the genre’s most exciting innovators, continually pushing the boundaries of what the baritone sax can achieve.
Downstairs from the old boxing gym where champions once trained, Jack Solomons Jazz Club is Soho’s underground hideaway. With velvet booths, moody lighting and swing in every corner, it hosts London’s top jazz musicians across two or three shows a night. The bar serves classic cocktails and strong pours, best enjoyed just metres from the band. Entry requires a ticket or Soho Live Music Club membership.
