Grace Sheene

Grace Sheene Vocals

Grace Sheene Trio brings Soho Swing downstairs at Sucre: voice out front, a trio built for standards played with warmth rather than volume, the kind of set that rewards a room willing to lean in and listen. It's one of the Soho Jazz Festival's more intimate bookings — no horn section, no big arrangements, just a singer and a small band trusting the songs to do the work. Expect the classic vocal-jazz repertoire treated with real feeling rather than nostalgia, in a basement room built for exactly this kind of close, unshowy set.

Late sets and jams, doors from 21:00, running past midnight.

The basement room beneath Sucre. Low ceiling, close quarters and the later half of the Latin night, built for rhythm sections and dancing rather than seated listening.
