Richard Hadfield leads Legendary Voices on Archer Street with a voice built for the Soho Songbook's biggest names — Sinatra, Ella, Dean — sung with the phrasing of someone who's clearly spent time studying how those records were actually built, not just their melodies. It's one of the more polished bookings on the Soho Jazz Festival bill: a small band holding the arrangements steady while Hadfield works the room the way the golden age of vocal jazz demanded. Expect a set that leans into the standards rather than reinventing them, and a room that knows exactly what it came for.
