Richard Hadfield's second Soho Jazz Festival appearance moves him from Legendary Voices to Soho Swing, and the shift in series brings a shift in repertoire: less of the big American songbook, more of the vintage swing and standards this stage was built around. It's the same voice in a different setting — Archer Street rather than the vocal-jazz stage, a band leaning into swing rhythm rather than ballad phrasing. Expect a set that shows a different side of Hadfield than his other festival slot, built for a room that wants to move rather than just listen.
