Houston Patton
1664 Rosé RoomThis show is on both passes.
Houston Patton brings a tenor sound built on the tradition — warm, unhurried, more interested in the space between notes than in filling every bar — to the Discovery stage at 1664 Rosé Room. It's a quieter kind of set than some of the festival's headline slots, and that's the point: Soho Jazz Festival's Discovery strand exists to give a room and an audience to players still building their name, without asking them to compete for volume. Expect standards played with real patience, a rhythm section that knows when to lay out, and a set built for listening rather than talking over.
Afternoon and early evening shows, doors from 12:00 to 18:30.
A branded room inside 41 Great Windmill Street, sitting alongside Piano Bar and Jack Solomons Club in the same building. Used across the festival for Discovery sessions.
Discovery Series celebrates fresh voices, bold ideas, and intimate live performances, spotlighting rising artists, hidden gems, and world premieres of new releases shaping what comes next.
