Pablo Barrios Collective
Sucre Origins8:45–9:15pm
This show is on both passes. It is a dinner show, with a minimum spend of £50 per person for dinner.
Pablo Barrios Collective brings the piano to the front of Sabor Latino's sound: montunos and clave rhythms driving the band from underneath, horns and percussion built around the groove rather than over it. At Sucre Origins, that means a set built as much for dancing as listening — Soho Jazz Festival's Latin strand at its most physical, the kind of show where the crowd starts moving before the band's finished the first tune. Expect a set that draws as much from Havana and Caracas as it does from the standard jazz songbook, and a rhythm section that never quite lets the room sit still.
The headline slot of the night, doors from 19:30 to 20:00.
As this is a dinner show, there is a minimum spend of £50 per person for dinner.
The ground-floor room at Sucre on Great Marlborough Street, where the Latin programme starts the evening before it moves downstairs.
Sabor Latino celebrates infectious Latin rhythms, live jazz energy, and vibrant club shows, spotlighting standout artists bringing the finest grooves this side of the Atlantic.
