Flowstate: Nathan Britton
1664 Rosé RoomThis show is on both passes.
Flowstate is Nathan Britton's own name for what happens when a piano trio stops watching the clock: long-form improvisation built from standards like 'Caravan', stretched and reharmonised until the original tune is a memory more than a melody. It's exactly the kind of set Discovery exists to platform at Soho Jazz Festival — a rising voice on the London scene, given room to take a familiar tune somewhere unfamiliar, in the low light of the 1664 Rosé Room. Come early if you want a seat close to the piano; this is a set best heard from near the front, not across the room.
Afternoon and early evening shows, doors from 12:00 to 18:30.
A branded room inside 41 Great Windmill Street, sitting alongside Piano Bar and Jack Solomons Club in the same building. Used across the festival for Discovery sessions.
Discovery Series celebrates fresh voices, bold ideas, and intimate live performances, spotlighting rising artists, hidden gems, and world premieres of new releases shaping what comes next.
