Ineza is a jazz vocalist of compelling presence whose story and artistry demand attention. Born in Rwanda and adopted into a Belgian family, she now lives and works in London, bringing to the UK jazz scene a rare fusion of cultural depth and vocal expressiveness.
After studying jazz vocals at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance, and earlier at Maastricht Conservatoire in the Netherlands, she settled in London and has since become an in-demand vocalist, praised for her unique voice, emotional connection to lyrics, and strong swing feel.
While she is also a songwriter and composer, her core strength as a vocalist means she can deliver jazz standards, re-interpretations, and more intimate vocal-led sets—not only her original work. Her performances offer a blend of sophistication and emotional authenticity, She regularly appears at leading jazz venues and festivals and is a regular performer with Soho Live Music Club, including appearances at Alfie’s Jazz Club and the Soho Jazz Festival.
