AnDré Quartet
This Saturday, Alfie's welcomes AnDré Mali for his debut performance at Alfie's Soho. AnDré is an international award-winning jazz trumpeter who has performed as a bandleader and alongside legends including Delfeayo Marsalis, Arturo Sandoval, Ornette Coleman, Donald Byrd, and Joe Sample. A composer and arranger, he created Sivad: The Music of Miles Davis and original suites including Frequency, Bridges, The Soul, and the forthcoming Circle (2025). He performs internationally across jazz and blues, collaborating with artists such as Ghost-Note, The New Power Generation, Galactic, and Sly5thAve, and has appeared at the London Jazz Festival and Chorus Music Festival in Paris. A former student of Dr. Donald Byrd, AnDré blends tradition with innovation. Beyond performance, he is a poet, author, and certified wellness practitioner, integrating sound healing, meditation, and holistic arts into his creative work, with a mission to unite and uplift through music.
