Helping Artists Succeed
The Soho Jazz Festival is not just an annual event. It is a living support system for the artists who make London’s music scene breathe. Every week, the Soho Jazz Jam opens its doors to musicians from across the city, offering a stage to collaborate, improvise and learn. These sessions have become a magnet for discovery. Young players meet veterans, ideas collide and new bands are born on stage.
The Artist Development Fund provides direct financial and promotional backing for emerging artists. It helps with recording, marketing and live show production, ensuring that talent is nurtured rather than lost in the noise of the city. During the 2025 festival week, two album launches demonstrated this vision in action. Trumpeter Olivia Cuttill and vocalist Ineza Kerschkamp both released debut records supported by the festival, going on to national coverage.

Soho Jazz Festival’s partnership with Music Minds Matter has added another layer of care. The collaboration created a wellbeing portal and the Jazz Connect charity lunch, raising awareness for musician welfare. By connecting artists with industry professionals, the festival helps build networks that last long after the final encore. Every performance is filmed or photographed professionally, giving artists year-round material to promote their work.
Membership through Soho Live Music Club keeps the energy flowing. With over three thousand members attending more than a thousand shows a year, the club provides a constant platform for artists to play, connect and grow. Whether through jam nights, album launches or digital showcases, the Soho Jazz Festival ensures the music never stops. Its artists find not only stages but a community built to last.
