Riketté Genesis comes home to the Piano Bar for Christmas.
Riketté was discovered at The Piano Bar Soho and has become one of Soho Live Studios' all-time greats: a true London jazz singer who takes songs written generations ago and makes them sound like they were written this year. Since singing on After Hours at the Piano Bar Soho she has taken her voice to the Southbank Centre, Wilderness Festival and Satchmo's Jazz Festival in Lagos, and recreated Billie Holiday's Carnegie Hall concert.
The Night
This Christmas, Soho Live Studios puts twelve rising stars of jazz in lights. Soho's City of Stars, a Soho Jazz Festival series, spotlights the artists we believe in most, one night each at Alfie's Jazz Club and the Piano Bar at Jack Solomons, hand-picked for the moment just before everyone else catches on.
