The Night
Jack Solomons Club opens from 8:00 PM, DJ Ollie takes the records from 10:00 PM, the sound building as the room does, free entry all night, complimentary reservations available. A proper room, a serious sound system, cocktails worth the trip on their own, and a crowd that arrived on purpose.
Members walk in with up to three guests when there is room.
The DJ
DJ Ollie plays for the moment a record you didn't know you needed drops into the mix. He starts deep or jazz-tinged when the room calls for it, then builds through French house, funky piano grooves and '90s house classics, with Barry Can't Swim, Folamour, ANOTR, Bellaire, Soul Wun, Jayda G and Purple Disco Machine among his touchstones, and he picks each record in the moment. He learned on his flatmate's decks two years ago and has since played house parties, theatre and fitness events. He is also in a West End show, and often comes straight from the stage to the booth. At Jack Solomons Club, expect the unexpected, big grooves and good vibes.
