The Night
Neo Soul Jazz Sessions turns the Piano Bar into exactly what it's built for: Omar Nesaro at the piano, the songbook loosened into something warmer, while the kiosk shakes the good stuff in the hidden jazz den inside Jack Solomons. Two shows, 6:30 PM and 8:30 PM, cocktails from 6:00 PM, candles lit, tempo unhurried.
The Music
Nesaro works the piano the way the room asks for it — neo soul chords easing into jazz phrasing and back again, the beat felt more than counted. Nothing rushed, nothing showy: a touch built for close tables and low light, letting the room feel like it's playing along. Trust the room, and the room delivers.
Expect the night to breathe rather than build to anything — a groove held just long enough to notice, then let go.
