Award-winning trumpeter Olivia Cuttill brings a Christmas songbook with New Orleans in its bones to Alfie's.
Olivia is third generation in music, picked up the trumpet at ten and found jazz six years later through Louis Armstrong, Dr John and Nina Simone. Since then she has won the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award, the Martin Hummel Endeavour Award at the Parliamentary Jazz Awards and the Presto Music Newcomer in Jazz award, played the Southbank Centre and Love Supreme, and made two albums of her own, The Whole Damn Plan and ...And Writing And Singing And Tunes To Be Swingin'. She has even made a Christmas record, Christmas with Nico and Olivia.

The Night
This Christmas, Soho Live Studios puts twelve rising stars of jazz in lights. Soho's City of Stars, a Soho Jazz Festival series, spotlights the artists we believe in most, one night each at Alfie's Jazz Club and the Piano Bar at Jack Solomons, hand-picked for the moment just before everyone else catches on.
