Venezuelan-born pianist Pablo Barrios brings salsa, son and Afro-Cuban fire to Alfie's.
Pablo is musical director of the NYJO Latin Collective, the National Youth Jazz Orchestra's Latin big band, which he led at the EFG London Jazz Festival. Salsa, son and Afro-Cuban grooves from a pianist who plays to be danced to, in a candlelit room that won't stay in its seats for long.
The Night
Night falls on Greek Street. At number 49 the noise of Soho gives way to candlelight, a studio grand and a room that has already found the beat.
